Examine culture – Why is culture important to a school’s development?

Culture is what makes a school tick. It is the ‘blood’ so to speak that runs through the very fabric of every day. What is given priority in a busy week will be determined by the culture of the setting. What is deemed as important and valuable is determined by the culture.
School development needs a positive culture within which to thrive. Change is hard but is make easier if the group is good.
